Weddings

Weddings seem to be the butter & bread work for photographers. Photographers are booked to fulfill a service: we have to make the bride and the groom look good and special, we have to catch the moments of truth and we have to make sure, that every important person appears at least on one photograph. But it's far more than that.
A wedding is a unique and magical day, full of emotions and sometimes bizarre situations.  The art of wedding photography is to catch this magic and uniqueness with the camera.
Unlike portrait photography, it's not primarily about me and the person I photograph, it's all about them and their interactions. Being the photographer at a wedding means to be lonely, but never alone.
